Envisioning Wellness Together
Therapy that centers your humanity, culture, and lived experience.
Welcome to Envisioning Wellness.
If you’re here, something in your life may feel heavy, overwhelming, or no longer sustainable. Many of the people I work with are used to being the ones who hold everything together—for family, work, or community sometimes quietly, sometimes with a smile, and often at their own expense.
Choosing therapy is not a sign that you’ve failed. It’s a sign that you’re ready for support, too.
Therapy offers space to slow down, reflect, and reconnect with who you are beneath the expectations and roles you’ve been carrying. At Envisioning Wellness, I work alongside you to help make sense of what you’ve been through and support growth that feels real, grounded, and aligned with the life you want to live.
Let’s work on envisioning wellness together.
What Envisioning Wellness Means in My Practice
At Envisioning Wellness, therapy is a collaborative, trauma-informed process rooted in compassion and cultural responsiveness. You are the expert on your life, and my role is to support and guide you as we make sense of your experiences together.
We’ll explore what’s been getting in the way, recognize what has helped you cope and survive, and develop strategies that align with your values and vision. My goal is to create a space that feels grounded and supportive, where you can show up fully and at your own pace.
Mission
At Envisioning Wellness, my mission is to provide culturally responsive, compassionate mental health care for individuals and families who have often been overlooked, misunderstood, or underserved within traditional healthcare systems.
I am committed to creating a therapeutic space where people particularly Black, Brown, Asian, Indigenous, multiracial, and LGBTQIA+ individuals can show up fully, explore their experiences honestly, and receive care that honors both their mental health and their lived realities.
Healing here does not require you to minimize your story, assimilate, or navigate systems alone. Therapy is about support, connection, and growth that feels authentic and sustainable
I provide compassion-focused, culturally responsive therapy that is collaborative, thoughtful, and grounded in your lived experience.
My style is warm, direct, and honest supportive without sugarcoating, and rooted in care and respect. Therapy isn’t about fixing you; it’s about understanding what you’ve been carrying, how it’s shaped you, and what you need moving forward.
My work is informed by evidence-based approaches, including EMDR, DBT, and trauma-focused therapies, integrated in ways that fit your needs rather than forcing you into a one-size-fits-all model.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC) based in Minnesota. I am also licensed to provide counseling in Wisconsin and North Dakota
I currently offer telehealth therapy, allowing clients to receive care from the comfort and privacy of their own space. Availability is limited.
If you’re wondering whether we might be a good fit, you’re welcome to reach out with questions.
My Approach
Who I Work With
I work with teens and adults who may be navigating:
Anxiety, stress, or feeling overwhelmed
Depression or low mood
Burnout and emotional exhaustion
Trauma and difficult life experiences
Life transitions and identity exploration
Relationship and family challenges
Cultural, religious, or community expectations
Many of my clients are people who have spent years being the “strong one” the caretaker, fixer, or responsible one and are now realizing they need space to be supported too.
I specialize in working with individuals from Black, Brown, Asian, Indigenous, multiracial, and LGBTQIA+ communities, and I welcome all clients who value culturally responsive, affirming care
Please note: Clients must be physically located in a state where I am licensed at the time of the session.
This may be a good fit if you:
Are seeking individual therapy for yourself or your teen
Want a therapist who is honest, compassionate, and culturally aware
Value a reflective, relational approach
Are open to telehealth sessions
Are looking for meaningful, sustainable change
This may not be the best fit if you:
Are seeking emergency or crisis services
Need intensive or daily support
Are requesting court evaluations or legal documentation
If you are experiencing a mental health emergency or are in immediate danger, please call 911 or 988.
What to Expect
You reach out using the contact form
I follow up to discuss availability and next steps
If it’s a good fit, we schedule an initial session
You don’t need to have everything figured out before reaching out. We take this one step at a time.
Reaching out for support can feel vulnerable especially if you’re used to handling things on your own.
Whether you’re seeking therapy for yourself, your teen, or professional support through supervision or trainings, you’re welcome to get in touch.
Envisioning Wellness starts with reaching out.
Taking the First Step
Empathy:
“Let me hold the door for you.
I may have never walked in your shoes, but I can see your soles are worn, your strength is torn under the weight of a story I have never lived before.
Let me hold the door for you. After all you’ve walked through, It’s the least I can do.
